Welcome to the TNA Foundation page, a place where you’ll be able to see what we get up to on the charity front, and discover more about our 2022 partner Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance.

Throughout the year we’ll be doing several fundraisers and activities so please do watch this space to donate, participate or perhaps add a tiny bit encouragement.

We know, as an organisation, that by doing something good we can move the dial forward a little for our charity partner and the funds we raise will go towards providing support, encouragement and advice to families whose children have a cancer diagnosis: both during and after treatment.

Did you know?

Every year in the UK, 1,000 children die from cancer. Many of the 3,000 children who survive endure years of treatment and long-term side effects.

This is where we know that some of our funds will go:

  • £5 can help provide a Father’s Day gift for a parent of a child with cancer to let them know you care
  • £10 buys a child with cancer a distraction toy or book to help them cope with 100’s of injections or a gift for a sibling of a child with cancer as their lives are disrupted by cancer too (or to let them know they are special too)
  • £20 provides one month’s telephone rental to enable parents of children with cancer to contact the charity
  • £25 provides one month’s internet service so that families of children with cancer can email
  • £30 means that the charity can run a coffee morning for parents of children with cancer helping them support each other

What do you get when two electrical companies come together and want to do something good for charity yet which challenges them mentally and physically? 
 
The Three Peaks Challenge, of course.
 
One hot and sunny weekend in July, two CEOs came together with their teams to try and smash the three infamous mountains for the Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance – TNA’s charity partner for 2022.
From dusk until dawn the group hiked up and over hilly terrain, felt the rain on their skin, the sun on their backs and the pain beneath their feet. But they ploughed on and SMASHED it.
From door to door, team TNA and team Wilwright achieved it in just 22 hours.
